And so it happened..I became a year older..heh …I used to like my birthdays a lot and now I just feel like I am becoming older and older. Oh well. That’s the way it goes.
In the morning my husband made me a nice breakfast and I got to open all of my presents. As I got to work, colleagues from my unit invited me for a birthday breakfast. It was really nice to enjoy conversation with a cup of coffee in a very relaxing atmosphere. I also got some presents and a beautiful bouquet of pink roses.

I’m always afraid of hurting Maya…I always hope that everything we do doesn’t have some irreversible effect on her, since I want to her to have her full potential. Of course, every parent wants this for their child, though in the back of my mind, I know that it’s not possible to be perfect. But when something is brought directly to your attention, you have to take notice.

On such a beautiful sunny day one really appreciates having a nice garden. So, our family decided to spend this Sunday working in the garden. Maya and I were an exception to the established rule as our main task for today was keeping each other happy snappy.
Since Maya was keeping mommy awake almost every single hour of the night, mommy was dying to get some sleep. Maya, however, wanted to watch her daddy mow the lawn as the bright red machine was making all sorts of funny noises. So, here we were observing our daddy making our so called ‘soccer field’ getting in shape and our babushka raking the grass.
