So we have been trying really hard to get Maya to crawl.
She is such a lazy one though. No motivation to move at all.
Well now she has started crawling backwards.

I guess our little sunshine will get her first teeth just in time for Christmas.
We were all waiting for this to happen a long time ago. As every time Maya was a bit fussy or had a runny nose or a little fever, we would all try to play a doctor and say, those must be the first teeth coming through the gums. This last month was full of excitement for little Maya. Not only did she have her first flight, but she attended two weddings, and met lots of her Ukrainian relatives.

And so, it finally happened, after four and a half years of living together, my brother and his girlfriend Natasha finally decided to get married.
The decision didn’t come as a surprise to all of us, however the chosen date of the wedding did. They gave us exactly two weeks notice.
Yeah ..yeah..you do not have to read the previous sentence again, it wasn’t two years or two months..it was exactly two weeks notice.
Knowing my brother and the busy lifestyle that he has after he has become a general director of one of the big construction companies, short term planning was definitely on his menu.
All we had to do is to buy our gowns and then tickets to Kiev for five days, a travel stroller, organize travel with the baby for the first time, send dad home by train and have him buy a baby bed, a bath tub, diapers and organize a stress-free visit to Kiev with a little baby.
